Live lingua has been an amazing experience. The teachers are absolutely amazing. Spanish language instruction with Live Lingua is well worth it
I have been very pleased with my experience learning Spanish in a 1/1 environment with Live Lingua. My Live Lingua customer ID is --- and now have about 20 hours of 1/1 instruction from two very good instructors. My instructors are well educated native Spanish teachers and they are really focused on discovering how I learn and challenging me to learn by speaking Spanish in each class. As seasoned language instructors, both schooled in Mexico, they have a plan to grow my Spanish language skills and they do not hesitate to provide good feedback on sentence structure and pronunciation. The 1 hour classes start on time and before you know it, the hour is over. With 1/1 instruction you have the opportunity to ask real life questions and focus on topics that are important to you. This has been an ideal language learning experience for me.

Where are Live Lingua teachers from?
Live Lingua English tutors originate from and live in all over North America (including Mexico, Central America, South America) and Europe. If you are looking for a specific accent or region of English to learn, we have almost all the different dialects covered.
How much English is used in my classes?
As much as possible. And it also depends on your current level. Survivor level English will move slower than an intermediate or advanced level (almost ALL English). Moving faster as your English progresses.
When can I book my classes?
You can start scheduling classes immediately. Your classes can be scheduled up to 24hrs in advance and up to 2-weeks ahead with your dedicated tutors.
What happens if I need to cancel my scheduled class
You can cancel your class directly through our student dashboard if the class is schedule more than 24 hours away. If the cancellation is within 24-hours, a short email to our student success team to [email protected] is all that is needed so that we can properly notify the teacher.
Do I need to bring study materials?
Not really. Your tutors will have all of the materials you will need to learn English along with homework assignments where appropriate. If you want to add study materials to your program, bring them along.
Besides, we have a ton of FREE resources on our website like vocabulary and grammar for you to refer to so that you are only spending speaking time with your tutors.
What does the 30-day Guarantee mean?
If you are not absolutely thrilled with your classes at anytime within the first 30-days after your first subscription payment, we will refund your payment (less the value of the classes completed)* with no questions asked.
How long do I have to use my credits??
You will have up to 12-months (1-year) from the date of purchase to use your credits. There is no need to worry about not getting the use of the credits if you are going to be away on vacation for a week or two.

How did a Peace Corps volunteer, a teacher, and a black lab successfully break down cultural barriers?
When Ray Blakney, a U.S. Peace Corp volunteer stationed in Mexico, met, and married his wife Laura, a local Spanish teacher, they recognized how learning a new language changed their lives. They wanted to help others build meaningful connections as well, by breaking down those cultural barriers.
Ray, Laura, and their black lab Frida opened a chain of successful brick and mortar language schools in Mexico. In 2010, they decided to bring the language immersion experience into everybody’s home! So, they sold their schools and made their courses available online.
That’s when Live Lingua was born!
